5mm through the main body of the suit, with strategic 4mm panels. Like all the neoprene in the Xcel range, it's a variety of limestone-based Japanese nanoprene. Plush Thermo Lite inside lining from chest to knee, front and back, plus hood. This lightweight, heat-generating yarn is a lightweight version of Thermo Dry Celliant (found on the Comp X). "S" Seal through upper body, sealed on the outside with polyurethane; lower-body seams are taped on the inside with FusionX tape.

This is in addition to standard triple glued & blindstitched construction. Built-in hood lined with Plush Thermo Lite. Smoothskin on chest and back for additional defences against wind and water, plus glideskin collar to reduce flushing and chafing round the neck.

Water-based glues (no nasty VOCs); dope-dyed yarns (massive savings on water and energy); scrap rubber tyres pyrolyzed into carbon black (one of the key ingredients in neoprene); limestone-derived neoprene (marginally better than petrochemcial alternatives); plastic bottles recycled into polyester yarns (used the stretch jersey fabric that lines the neoprene).
